[February the 27th]

Vivienne Weinberg was born on January 31, 1980 to Dr. Philip Weinberg and June Pinsky Weinberg. Phil and June had high hopes for their only daughter, placing her in some of the top-rated schools in New York City, where she had been born and raised. Tests had proven that she was bright, creative, and had extraordinary potential. When she failed to perform at the caliber that was expected for her, her parents were mystified. Vivienne started psychological treatment at eight years old and it was there that they uncovered that not only had her French tutor nurtured near perfect pronunciation in the foreign language, he had partaken in their daughter quite a few times as well.

For four years, Vivienne was bounced in and out of in-patient and out-patient treatment. The older she got, the more she acted out; post-traumatic stress disorder was a terrible monster, one that never allowed Vivienne the upper-hand. In the early nineties, Vivienne was placed on Prozac and almost immediately taken off of the drug when her parents decided that they didn't want their little girl to be "altered by the FDA". Instead, they chose to take full control of Vivienne's treatment.

At sixteen years old, Vivienne was living a rather precarious life. She attempted suicide several times, although her parents (and their friends) refused to allow the state to force another psychiatric hold in a hospital each time. Vivienne had moments of sheer brilliance, where she painted and created some of the most breath-taking and heart-breaking pieces the community had seen from such a young woman, and she quickly became sort of a precocious darling in at least one area of the art world. Other times, she would sink into such a deep depression that she would stand on the roof of the renovated hotel her parents' home was located and wonder at what the people below would tell their friends when she met the asphalt in front of them.

Vivienne attempted relationships but nothing worked for her for many years. She had affairs with older men, her father's friends, and seduced a fascinating bisexual vegan activist one night at a bar. She enjoyed sexual encounters with both genders shamelessly and loved to take pictures of their dalliances, both during and after the event. To this day, she has a photo album of nearly everyone she has slept with. She modeled for a while under the name Vida and when she stopped, she kept the name in social situations. Vivienne appears on her checks, but no one, not even her mother, calls her by that name anymore.

After attending college - and barely making it out alive - she took on a job as an art curator for a private gallery, and it was at a show that she met her husband. He was much, much older than her and she fell in love with him almost immediately. When he asked her to marry him, she said yes, took exactly one week to throw the wedding together, and refused his last name. She has adored him ever since.

Eight years later, Vida is still married and trying her best to settle herself down long enough to convince herself that she can be a mother.
